Paige Abramson
Paige Abramson is currently a graduate student studying Musicology and Library and Information Studies at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Her research primarily focuses on the American minimalism and postminimalism periods of the late twentieth and twenty-first centuries. She is currently exploring the collaborative process between composer, performer, lyricist, and technology in the vocal music of Philip Glass. As a student librarian, Paige specializes in public services and research instruction in academic music libraries. A founding member of Aimless Duo, she actively promotes new works for clarinet and double bass. As a performer, she has given recitals at the 2024 Georgia Music Teachers Association conference, the 2025 Napoleon Electronic Music Festival, and the 2025 New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival. She previously received her B.M. in Music Performance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
