Hannah Ray

Hannah Ray, is a soprano pursuing a master’s degree in voice at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, studying with Dr. Sarah Brailey. She recently performed the role of Susanna in a UW-Madison production of Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro. During her undergraduate degree at North Dakota State University, Hannah embraced opportunities to perform in theatre, choir, and opera productions. She performed the role of Mabel in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance as well as the role of the First Spirit in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte with NDSU Opera. She has also sung in the chorus of Fargo-Moorhead Opera's productions of La Bohème and Turandot. She received first prize in the vocal division of the 2024 Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition. Hannah loves opportunities to connect musically with her local community.
