Julian Ward

Pianist Julian Ward moved to Minneapolis in 1998 for graduate study in accompanying and vocal coaching at the University of Minnesota, and enjoys work as a collaborative pianist and vocal coach in the Twin Cities. He has served as a staff pianist with the Utah Opera Company, Las Vegas Opera Theater, Chautauqua Opera, the Sieur Duluth Festival Opera, and has worked with the Minnesota Opera both in the preparation of mainstage productions, and as a pianist for the Resident Artist program and educational programs.  Mr. Ward maintains ties with the University of Minnesota, where he has assisted with the musical preparation of several University Opera Theater productions, and since 2006 has assisted with the university's Summer Music Theater workshop for high school students.
