Soprano Julia Ennen is a 2015 graduate of the University of Minnesota where she majored in music and minored in comparative U.S. race & ethnicity studies. During her time at the U of MN, she studied under the tutelage of sopranos Jean Del Santo and Wendy Zaro-Mullins. Her credits with the U of MN Opera Theatre include Cobweb in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, and Frasquita in La tragédie de Carmen. Upon graduation last spring, Julia performed in the original musical Philly in Minneapolis, MN. Julia will perform in the musical Catch Me If You Can with The Chameleon Theatre Circle during the spring of 2016. Additionally, Julia has worked as a private voice teacher, a teaching artist, and as a Princess Anna of Arendelle character performer. She is a current 2015-16 Americorps member with College Possible, a non-profit organization based in St. Paul, MN that supports students with college access. Along with work in the social justice realm, Julia has an ever-growing passion for musical theatre and hopes to further pursue artistry in this field.
