Joseph Hubbard, bass, holds B.Mus and M. Mus. degrees from the University of North Texas and Northwestern University, and a Certificate from the Opera Institute at Boston University. With recent professional engagements at Virginia Opera, Opera Southwest, Beth Morrison Projects, Aldeburgh Festival (UK), and Aspen Music Festival, Mr. Hubbard has performed over two dozen operatic roles, ranging from early 17th century to new premieres.

His concert soloist credits include the Art Institute of Chicago, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Morgan Library and Museum, Duke University, Dartmouth College, Newberry Consort, Schola Antiqua of Chicago, Music at Marsh Chapel, Mountainside Baroque, Ars Lyrica Houston, Madison Bach Musicians, Madison Early Music Festival, Boston Early Music Festival, and the Grammy-nominated South Dakota Chorale, with whom he also serves as Artistic Advisor.
