Jordan Buchholtz

Jordan Buchholtz is a pianist, organist, collaborator and teacher. As an active performer, she regularly works and performs with both vocalists and instrumentalists as well as local chamber ensembles and opera companies in and around the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Recent projects include: Opera on the Lake production of Die Csárdásfürstin at Como Lake Summer of 2023; a concert production of Balls & Once Upon the Wind with Twin Cities Opera Reading Project May of 2023; Figaro for Kids with St. Croix Valley Opera Fall of 2022. This September, she will be a guest artist at Concordia Moorhead performing a recital and masterclass with flutist Sarah Weisbrod. Jordan is the principal organist and pianist at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in South Minneapolis and is in the process of creating the Fika Music Series, which will feature the church’s School of Music faculty along with other church musicians on staff. The inaugural concert will take place in October of 2023. This past May, Jordan completed her Doctorate at the University of Minnesota in Collaborative Piano and Vocal Coaching. She received her Master’s Degree and Artist Certificate at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and her Undergraduate degree at Luther College. Every June she looks forward to returning to the Dorian Summer Music Camps at Luther College as both a piano teacher and collaborator.
