Source Moment: When I came to Source, I was really just starting out on my journey learning about song and working with singers. I was inspired with how connected the program was with the wider musical community in the Twin Cities. It was incredible to hear music of local composers performed by local artists, all supporting each other. A highlight of the week was working with Edie Hill on her music. It was the first time that I had the experience to work closely with a composer leading up to a performance. It was really exciting to be able to ask questions and get her feedback, and then be able to bring the piece back to share with our own community.
