Coloratura soprano Jennifer Olson holds a Master's degree in voice from the University of Michigan and a DMA in voice from the University of Minnesota. She most recently held a position as Assistant Professor of Voice at Bemidji State University and is now the master teacher of the vocal performance program at Shattuck-St. Mary's School. She performs chamber music and on the operatic stage all around the North central region. Notable performances include the role of “Tiny” in Benjamin Britten’s Paul Bunyan with VocalEssence and Philip Brunelle, "Papagena" in Mozart's The Magic Flute, and appearances as soprano soloist in the Messiah with the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra as well as the soprano soloist in Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass with the South Metro Chorale. Jennifer also competed as a National Semi-Finalist representing the North Central Region in the NATS Artist Award Competition in Boston.
